— Our Story —

Two Countries, One Story

We are a German-Ecuadorian couple—he’s from Germany, she’s from Ecuador. Yana Qori is our joint project: Ecuadorian specialty coffee, carefully selected with our local roasting partner and imported to Germany. Today we’re launching with the best single-origin coffee we’ve found—an Arabica Caturra from Carchi in northern Ecuador. Someday we’ll grow our own.

In Quechua, Yana Qori means “black gold.” That’s exactly what good coffee from Ecuador means to us.
